Hollywood’s Michelle Williams made some outlandish statements recently as she accepted her 2020 Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a limited series, and emphasized how grateful she is to live in a country where women could access abortion.

Naturally, the awards show audience applauded Williams for her “courage” – as she stood there pregnant, mind you – claiming she freed herself from the bondage an unwanted child would have brought had she allowed it to live.

Hollywood elites are influencing your kids whether you like it or not.

The message was clear: Williams would not have won her Golden Globe if she didn’t get an abortion, and women must do the same if they want a shot at fame and success.

How much is your firstborn child worth?

First, they need Jesus. Second, they preach about climate change, diversity, tolerance, and equality, but in Hollywood, the murder of the unborn is simply a “political” issue accepted under the guise of choice, reproductive freedom, and women’s health.

But abortion is not just a political or social issue. The right to life is a moral issue which should be important to Christians. While holding her coveted award, Williams stated:

“When you put this in someone’s hands, you’re acknowledging the choices that they make as an actor … but you’re also acknowledging the choices they made as a person, the education they pursued, the training they sought, the hours they put in,”

“I’m grateful for the acknowledgment of the choices I’ve made, and I’m also grateful to have lived at a moment in our society where choice exists. Because as women and as girls, things can happen to our bodies that are not our choice.”

So a pregnancy just happens randomly out of the blue sky? Unless a woman is raped, you are absolutely in control of your body and responsible for the choice you made to have sex and, in many cases, to commit adultery.

But two wrongs don’t make it right. Don’t punish the baby for the sins of the mother and father. Rape accounts for less than 1% of all abortions. What about the other 99%?

Did Michelle Williams really imply that abortion played a role in winning her precious award just like her acting talent did? Yup. She continued:

“I wouldn’t have been able to do this without employing a woman’s right to choose, to choose when to have my children, and with whom,”

Call me old fashioned, but usually by marrying someone, you choose to have children with that person. She continued.

“thank God or whomever you pray to that we live in a country founded on the principle that I am free to live by my faith, and you are free to live by yours.”

It’s interesting she recognized Hollywood prays to many deities and false gods, but here we’ve regressed into the realm of moral relativism; ‘you have your truth and I have mine.’ To me, you’re seven months pregnant with a beautiful pre-born baby boy or girl, but to you – and many in the entertainment industry – you better choose to get rid of that growing lump in your body.

Williams’ cold-hearted words triggered applause not unlike a year ago when New York Democrats celebrated the expansion of abortion rights. The gruesome Reproductive Health Act legalized late-term abortions until the moment of birth. Virginia Governor Ralph Northam took it a step further, and his state essentially endorsed infanticide.

If Michelle Williams feels that access to abortion improved her life by helping her focus on her career, parroting the Hollywood line that women need abortions is not only false; it’s wrong.

Prolife actress Ashley Bratcher, the star of Unplanned, recently stated.

“Society makes us believe that you can’t have a baby and have a successful career or go to school,” she said. “That’s exactly what we don’t need to hear. That’s exactly the opposite of female empowerment.”

Bratcher, who had her own unplanned pregnancy, now has both a family and a career, and she encourages other mothers that they don’t have to choose between success and children.

Michelle Williams ended her speech with a call for women to vote the liberal party line.

“So, women, 18 to 118, when it is time to vote, please do so in your own self-interest. It’s what men have been doing for years. Don’t forget, we are the largest voting body in this country. Let’s make it look more like us.”

According to Gallup, nearly 50% of women say they are pro-life, so she’s alienating half her potential audience.

Washington Examiner’s Madeline Fry writes:

“A woman’s “own self-interest” should never take precedence over the “self-interest” of a baby in the womb. If only Williams, who now has a child on the way, could realize that her perspective is not empowering to women. It’s just spreading one of Hollywood’s biggest lies.”

One final point. Remember how Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais opened the show cautioning award winners to leave out politics? He suggested many celebrities have spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

Michelle Williams left school at 15 to pursue an acting career.

We are spiritual and physical beings and our souls live forever. Spin it however you want, but a woman that has had an abortion is still a mother, but the difference is the child is dead. Since every human being has a conscience, Williams and others most likely know they’re wrong.

The good news is surveys indicate more Americans are pro-life and many are changing their minds about abortion – or at least growing more uncomfortable with the idea – especially when they see the 4D images of living, developing human babies inside their mothers’ wombs.
