Smithsonian Celebrates Moral Relativism & Murder in ‘Girlhood’

The Smithsonian has joined Hollywood, public schools, the liberal activist media, big tech, corporations, and LGBTQ by adding aGirlhood” exhibition. In keeping with the modern celebration of godlessness and moral relativism, the museum features biological male, Jazz Jennings, along with atheist, racist, eugenicist and founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger.

It’s just another example of the direction of a culture in confusion and chaos resulting from abandoning God, history, and the truth of Creation. The Smithsonian is part of the problem, destroying the very definition of what it means to be a girl and a woman.

Malcolm Muggeridge once stated:

“One of the peculiar sins of the twentieth century which we’ve developed to a very high level is the sin of credulity. It has been said that when human beings stop believing in God they believe in nothing. The truth is much worse: they believe in anything.”

At the Smithsonian, “Girlhood (It’s Complicated)” was put on in honor of the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, but, in reality “explores girlhood” through the lens of postmodernism and critical theory.

So who should they include in this exhibit? Biological males such as reality TV star, Jazz Jennings because he has “broken barriers” to apparently celebrate girlhood. Jazz said he always knew he “was a girl trapped in a boy’s body.” Jazz’s family listened, learned, and sadly played right along.

Former transgender, Laura Perry is featured in the new movie, In His Image, and she’s hoping to encourage others to avoid believing the same lies she once did and making the same mistakes. She took the hormones, had the painful surgeries and changed her name to “Jake.”

Lies promoted and celebrated by a culture that has denied God and is now calling evil good. I’ve interviewed Laura several times and she’s very open about her painful past and so-called “transition.”

The bottom line is Laura admits she created a god in her own image. The religion of sex and the LGBT movement is perhaps the biggest idolatry infecting young people today.

Several years back, the Christian Medical and Dental Association stated:

“Among those who identify as transgender, use cross-sex hormones, and undergo sex reassignment surgery, there is well-documented increased incidence of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, and risky sexual behaviors.”

There’s so much more we could say but let’s move on.

The Smithsonian also sugar-coats radical Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger. We previously exposed her warped worldview in detail, but they make her out to be a hero of the poor and inner cities for helping minorities and others kill their offspring. Think about that.

To its credit, the exhibition touches on Sanger’s “forced sterilization” campaigns and includes a photograph of a black woman protesting, but predictably there’s no mention of Sangers’ documented racist views. Sounds like Smithsonian takes its cues from the Democrat media.

In yet another example of cognitive dissonance, radical, progressive feminists justify her legacy, you know, because “choice.”

Don’t miss the tragic reality that girls and young women today are programmed as liberal, God-denying activists thanks in part to government education and Hollywood. Sadly, many of them see a baby as a problem to be dealt with rather than a gift from God. Cast out with abstinence education, kids aren’t allowed to consider the Judeo-Christian ethic which leads them to value every single human being and to live moral, righteous lives.

In 2015, a national group of black ministers led by Bishop E.W. Jackson called for the removal of Sanger’s bust from Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. Jackson said Sanger “was a white supremacist” and to honor her “is to be complicit in her evil and racism.”

In a letter sent to the Smithsonian at the time, Jackson and other black leaders wrote:

“Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies; an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as “the feeble minded;” …The notorious “Negro Project” which sought to limit, if not eliminate, black births, was her brainchild. Despite these well-documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice.”

EW Jackson is right.

It was Margaret Sanger who laid the foundation for today’s liberal social agenda that has left a women’s legacy of anguish, confusion, pain, and death during Planned Parenthood’s century in business. Modern feminists are in open rebellion against God. What I am about to say is not an exaggeration.

What Adolf Hitler did to millions of Jews through eugenics and sterilization, Margaret Sanger has dwarfed by pioneering a movement leading to the abortion of over one hundred million babies in the United States since the 1920s. Sadly, most people are ignorant of this horrible history leading to ideas such as abortion on demand, population control and euthanasia.

And today, Sanger along with Jazz Jennings are celebrated in the same breath under the guise of “Girlhood.” I feel sorry for Jennings and can’t imagine the inner brokenness and confusion due to the lies. Let this be a reminder to pray for those who have been deceived, and for those who are on a fast-track to hell by purposely deceiving others.

We need to respond with compassion to women who have had an abortion, to those who are struggling with gender dysphoria, and anyone immersed in sinful lifestyles. But please know the facts, and be prepared to offer the hope of Jesus Christ to those who are blind that they might see.
