We cannot divorce our faith from our political views. God is sovereign and politics is NOT the answer to America’s problems. However, government, politics, and legislation affect free speech and our ability to preach the Gospel. Christians must re-engage in this arena. One of the biggest lies is Christians should stay out of politics. We are to be lights in the darkness and to influence every aspect of culture for Christ and yes, friends – this must include politics. We will be held accountable by God for how we used our time while on earth and who we supported with our votes. This chapter uncovers distortions about America’s origins and heritage implemented by our education system, our government, and the national media.

This chapter will prove how historical truth has been minimized or rewritten and replaced with an anti-Christian curriculum. The U.S. Dept. of Education and the National Education Association call the shots in public schools today. Government is in full control. Many good teachers are at the mercy of a corrupt, Saul Alinsky-inspired union. God, the Bible, prayer as well as their influence have long been removed from government-run schools in America. Free speech is being squelched and Christian students are being discriminated against. We’ll prove through history how secular Humanism changed American schools decades ago while any remaining Christian values were booted out.

4.  PLANNED PARENTHOOD’S BURIED HISTORY………………………………….81

This chapter was one of the most difficult and heart-wrenching for me to write because it is rooted in pure evil. When did the eugenics and population control movements gain traction in the United States? Did we influence Adolf Hitler or did he influence us? Maybe both. We’ll expose Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger and the dark history of the abortion business and we’ll cite some shocking statistics. You’ll see how the pro-abortion media continues downplaying the brutality of abortion on demand and those who promote it while the majority of Americans not only believe abortion is wrong, but our tax dollars should not be paying for abortions. With all the information available on the Internet, you can find facts on practically everything imaginable – except the most common ‘medical procedure’ in the world: abortion. We’ll explain why and show how we’ve been duped into tolerating America’s culture of death.

From a Christian perspective, we’ll investigate President Obama’s background, beliefs, questionable associations, and policies – and we’ll provide evidence showing the Obama administration to be the most biblically-hostile in America’s history. His record, words, and actions make him the most pro-abortion president we’ve ever had. Furthermore, in 2012, first Joe Biden and then President Obama endorsed same-sex marriage and the Democratic Party officially made it part of their platform. Obama’s appointment of Kevin Jennings to his administration should alarm Christians; Jennings is one of the most radical homosexual activists to be appointed. As president, Obama more than once omitted the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence in a speech. He has also demonstrated disrespect in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. He covers for Islam yet criticizes Christianity. Even after four years in the White House, Americans know less about President Obama than any other president in history. How could this be?

6.  TRUTH HAS LEFT THE MEDIA………………………………………………………..129

A record number of America citizens distrust the media today because they no longer ‘serve and inform’ the people. Make no mistake; they have an agenda. The national media is blotting out God and for the last fifty years has been infiltrated by Leftists, liberals, and progressives. Not sure about this? We’ll prove it. We’ll cite history, provide news examples, and surveys answered by journalists themselves. There is extreme anti-Christian, anti-conservative bias in today’s media and the truth can be extremely hard to find.

• Ninety-seven (97%) believe in abortion – a woman’s right to choose
• Seventy-three (73%) agree homosexuality is just as acceptable as heterosexuality
• Over sixty (60%) favor gay marriage
• Twelve (12%) of journalists say they are Republican

This is a disservice to the American people and the media today is not only untrustworthy, but completely out of touch with the majority of citizens. The amazing fact is they’re not even trying to hide it anymore. We’ll look at Fast and Furious, how the media report on green energy scandals and environmentalism, abortion, same-sex marriage, and class warfare. I’ll show how the media minimized the Tea Party while promoting Occupy Wall Street. SO much more in this chapter…

7.  WHY THEY LOVE TO HATE SARAH PALIN……………………………………….151

The mainstream media loves Hollywood and Hollywood loves the media, but they hate Christian conservatives. A 2008 Rasmussen Poll showed by a 10 – 1 margin, people believed that “reporters tried to hurt Sarah Palin.”  This chapter will give you some inside information about what happens in elections and show the biased reporting went way beyond politics. A Christian woman they were unable to dig up any dirt on was part of the national presidential ticket and evil was unleashed. Never before has Hollywood demonstrated a level of hatred toward a political candidate like they did toward Palin. Liberals have contempt for Sarah Palin primarily because of her faith in God. They are their own gods, and Christianity is a threat to their way of life and how they want to see America. We’ll show how this is not a political issue, but spiritual. We can’t expect them to act differently, but we can pray for them.

8.  NORMALIZING HOMOSEXUALITY………………………………………………….171

In 1958, Communist Goal #26 was to “Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as normal, natural, and healthy.”  (Skousen, The Naked Communist, 1958) Have they been successful? You know the answer, but find out how this plan was implemented. Government, media, and academia have been the usual suspects in the promotion of immorality, along with -of course – Hollywood. However, it was Alfred Kinsey who was one of the most detrimental influences in America’s sexual revolution. Add the fact that many churches have accommodated both the sinner and the sin and we have a recipe for moral confusion. Christians have been successfully silenced. Homosexuality is accepted today as a normal part of American culture, but in 1962 it was considered a sin, not just by Christians but by the majority of American people. This chapter shows how we’ve changed and have allowed marketers of evil to promote the homosexual agenda – and I’ll overwhelmingly prove it’s an agenda.

It began with violence, progressed with profanity, gradually showed more and more nudity,  added alcohol, drugs, and promiscuity. Hollywood removed God from the picture and gives time to every immoral concept imaginable. You don’t need to be reminded how entertainment has changed; or maybe you really do! This chapter covers music, movies, TV, and technology. Did you know the average family watches five ours of TV a day which is 35 hours a week? How much Christian content is on television today? What do we spend our free time consuming? Garbage in, garbage out. A 2012 report by Parents Television Network showed there were 76 incidents of full (blurred) nudity on prime time TV. There are also over 60 gay, lesbian, transgender, or bisexual characters on shows that air during prime time hours. In addition, what we see on TV, in movies, and even on magazine covers at the supermarket would have been considered pornographic just 50 years ago, but many parents just let children soak it all in. We’ll talk about how far we’ve strayed from the Bible and what can be done about soul pollution.

11.  SOCIAL JUSTICE AND THE BIBLE…………………………………………………..263

Social Justice means different things to different people. God’s justice and what government considers justice are rarely the same thing. When government attempts to do the work the Church was commissioned to do, the results will be incomplete. Jesus Christ told his followers there would always be poor people among us. To feed the poor is a noble quest, but to give them physical food without meeting their spiritual need is an incomplete solution. Some proponents support the idea of creating a society or institution that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, progressive taxation, income redistribution, and in some cases even property redistribution. Ideas like these are not from the pages of the Bible, but the Communist Manifesto. The Christian Left and Religious liberals such as Jim Wallis have poisoned evangelical Christian churches with their version of social justice, and secularists who otherwise wish to absolutely separate church and state, anxiously merge them back together when it comes to gaining political power and taxpayer money.

What is the Emergent Church movement and exactly where has this movement ’emerged’ from? We will investigate this war on truth and the promotion of ambiguity. You’ll learn about some of the major false teachings that have become popular in America. There are men, either deceived or deceivers themselves,  infiltrating churches across the country with their brand of liberal Christianity which is being preached from many pulpits. For example, Postmodernism rejects there is scientific, philosophical, or religious truth which is the same for everybody. In other words, it’s another way of removing moral absolutes. We will unveil some of the evidence and touch on the New Age including Oprah Winfrey’s influence on Christianity, Rob Bell and Universalism, Red Letter Christians, and the business model that has focused more on church growth rather than the Great Commission.

13.  COUNTERFEIT CHRISTIANITY………………………………………………………309

Exposing watered-down Christianity would not have been controversial 50 or 100 years ago. This chapter quotes many influential and popular leaders in the Church in America. Sadly, it is now necessary to examine the fruit of their actions and ministries to see what is being produced. There are over a dozen major evangelical leaders who are promoters of confusion and ambiguity instead of truth, and some are (knowingly or unknowingly) blotting out the God of Scripture from within the walls of evangelical Christianity. When a Christian leader is popular and loved by the world, he is probably not preaching the whole counsel of God that includes holiness, repentance, God’s judgment, sin, Hell, and the consequences of immorality. It’s important for Christians to take a closer look at a few of the most influential pastors in America including Joel Osteen and Rick Warren.

14.  THE LAST FIFTY YEARS IN AMERICA…………………………………………………..343

This is an extensive history lesson in one chapter as we look at events in just the last five decades that have changed or  impacted America. The following were not big concerns in 1962:  abortion, pornography, gambling, homosexuality, witchcraft, divorce, alcoholism and drug abuse to name a few. Americans were not worried about any threats to remove God, the Bible, Christianity, and prayer from government schools and the public square. Families weren’t worried about leaving kids unsupervised, school violence, bullying, kidnapping, rape, movie ratings, television censorship, identity theft, government growth and intrusion. That was then. We’ll analyze a 50-year timeline from a Christian perspective and we’ll see the damage that has been done in that short amount of time caused in part by the silencing and weakening of Christianity in America. But it’s not over and God is not done with us yet. We can still hope in Christ and know that He has us here for His purposes. Our job is to trust, obey, and leave the results up to Him.
