Here’s more proof abortion activists and agitators have come unhinged: Supreme Court justices threatened at their private homes, churches and crisis pregnancy centers vandalized, a pro-family organization bombed on Mother’s Day, threats and violence not condemned by Democrat leaders and media, and off-the-charts profanity on social media about the SCOTUS Roe V. Wade case.
The taking of innocent life is evil, and there may be no limit to the blood lust of God-hating, intolerant extremists in today’s culture of death. You may wonder how the Biden administration responded to recent threats and “protests.” No problem, as long as they’re “peaceful.”
A Christian friend of mine, Julaine Appling, is president of a pro-life non-profit called Wisconsin Family Action, and her offices were bombed in an arson attack Sunday, Mother’s Day, when someone smashed a window and threw a Molotov cocktail inside its Madison office.
Appling said the act of violence was “a direct threat against us.” I say it’s a hate crime. The message spray-painted outside the building was a threat and warning to those who believe the Bible and defend innocent life in mother’s wombs: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.” Is this not a form of terrorism?
Now, even more pro-life groups or facilities are being violently attacked. Before we go on, what’s at the heart of this pivotal debate over human life?
Author and founder of Stand to Reason, Greg Koukl narrows down the abortion debate to one simple question. And it’s not about redefined words like choice, privacy, rights or reproductive freedom. Here’s how he explains it:
Imagine your child walking up when your back is turned and asking, “Daddy, can I kill this?” What is the first thing you must find out before you can answer him? You can never answer the question “Can I kill this?” unless you have answered a prior question: What is it? Abortion involves killing and discarding something alive. Whether it is right or not to take the life of any living thing depends entirely upon the question “What is it?”
Let’s reason together for a moment. The answer to this one question is crucial and trumps all other considerations. What or who exactly is in a pregnant mother’s womb?
But many on the left have bought the lying talking points and have received their marching orders. To them, killing babies, I mean – population control, I mean – eugenics, I mean – abortion is a sacrament to the Democrat Party. Call it whatever you want, it’s a form of child sacrifice and they want it protected as a “right” no matter the cost.
Remember the former claim of wanting to keep abortion safe, legal, and rare? Mollie Hemingway, editor in chief of The Federalist, witnessed what she called, “hate-filled extremism” outside the Supreme Court last week. They are so committed to abortion, some are admitting and even screaming they want to “kill those f-cking babies.”
The timing of this intensifying battle sure is interesting. Think about it. Months before Midterm elections kick off across the country, Joe Biden rallied his radical base by scoring the confirmation of a new Supreme Court Justice, a committed “pro-choice” liberal activist who could not define what a woman is.
Then, as Michele Malkin puts it, “the conveniently scheduled leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade became America’s new weapon of manufactured mass distraction.” Coincidence?
As globalist power players team up with Democrat socialists once again, pro-abortion agitators have been unleashed. They immediately showed up for pre-planned protest riots, I mean, rallies with pre-printed signs. Pretty darn organized for something they would have us believe is spontaneous. I’m sure you heard by now that on Saturday, radical pro-abortion activists gathered outside the homes of multiple U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Justice Alito was reportedly taken to an undisclosed location.
This is how modern Democrats play the game. Note that none of the targets include godless liberals on the high court. Justices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch had their home addresses published so Satan’s minions could go agitate.
Desperate, the Biden White House, knowing their support among key demographic voters has plummeted due to failing policies, decided to unleash even more chaos with the help of its most radical allies. Regarding the SCOTUS ‘Roe’ leak, Michelle Malkin writes:
Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union were at the ready in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New York City’s Foley Square for “impromptu” protests and literal screamfests, where masses of spontaneously gathered rabble-rousers carried spontaneously printed, carbon-copy signs from the billion-dollar-funded giants of the Death Lobby.
The left must cause chaos, distraction, and division in order to cause people to grow weary if not force submission.
A website apparently dedicated to the late justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, had asked their foot soldiers to “rise up May 8-15 and beyond. Their website states:
“Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights; “We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.”
A diversity of tactics. What do they mean by that?
Just a few examples include last September, when protestors picketed outside Justice Kavanaugh’s home against pro-life laws. In January, Democrats gathered outside Sen. Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) home in Virginia while he was out of town. Here’s how he responded at the time:
“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel; “They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”
That was a United States Senator. Now we’re talking about threats and intimidation of SCOTUS justices and the White House refusing to condemn protests outside people’s homes. Disgusting and un-American.
Jen Psaki said old Joe has no position on pro-abortion activists publishing a map with the home addresses of Supreme Court justices. She also stated that “there is a lot of passion” in the abortion debate. True, but this too, sent a message to more radicals.
Radical Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot issued her own threat and call to action:
“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms.”
Founder and president of Live Action, Lila Rose reported that Antifa and other extremists were attacking and vandalizing pregnancy centers that help women in crisis and showed photos of centers in Portland. She said it “drives pro-abort men to violent rage to think that women will have support to choose life.”I wonder how the media will report on these stories. Related news that flew under the radar includes a former CBS abortion reporter, Kate Smith, announcing a new job at Planned Parenthood. Some say she was basically an ambassador for the abortion giant. One actual journalist once described Smith as using “her perch at CBS to disguise as fact the opinions of the country’s most radical abortion-rights activists.”
But I digress. The moral and spiritual battle lines could not be more clear! The editors at Harbingers Daily remind us that the abortion battle is a spiritual one, and quote Canadian writer, Samuel Say:
“If you didn’t know already—you’re about to find out that the culture wars are just a proxy war of the spiritual war,” he described. “We are not merely protecting babies from abortionists, we are protecting babies from Satan. We are not merely debating abortion with ‘pro-choice’ people, we are defending truth and justice against demonic deception and injustice.”
It was just hours after radical leftists announced plans to target pro-life groups and churches on Mother’s Day that news about vandalism of a Catholic church in Colorado was reported. Heavy damage at Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Boulder included damaged statues, a shattered window, and spray painted profane messages across the property.
“My Body My Choice” was painted on a door of the church and “Keep Your Religion Off Our Bodies” on an exterior wall. Remember, the baby’s body is not the mother’s body – for those who ‘follow the science.’ And speaking of religion, in the Old Testament, cultish rituals including sexual activity caused many women to get pregnant, which the worshipers of a false god would ‘offer up’ babies to be burned on the statue in the image of Molech.
Outside the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York pro-abortion activists held signs and banners that taunted Catholics.
“I’m killing the babies!”
“Abortion is a Gift”
“RIP Jesus, Killed by a ‘Woke’ Deadbeat Dad”
“We Love Abortion”
“Thank God for Abortion”
“Help Me Abort My Babies”
“God Killed His Son, Why Can’t I?”
Overturning Roe V. Wade, if it actually happens, would not end abortion as some hysterically claim. People will simply go across state lines for abortion access. That’s where it should have been decided all along, by the people, not the judicial branch at the federal level.
Let me close with some sobering thoughts on overturning Roe from Pastor Matt Trewhella, founder of Missionaries to the Preborn. If it does happen, he says politicians will no longer be able to hide behind the skirt of the Court and we’ll see what Republicans are truly pro-life. No more excuses when it comes to legislation. Trewhella states:
“It is sad we waited on the Court itself to agree that Roe was never constitutional law, nor did we have to wait. 50 years of disobedient magistrates and Christians have cost many lives. The fiction of judicial supremacy kept so many from protecting human life. Now – no more incrementalism.
Now – we strike down the murder completely. No exceptions. The fight is far from over. America is covered in innocent blood. God’s judgment is just. We are not going to just walk away from this with an evening rally and a latte.”
Americans must return to the truth: every human life is created by God in His image. None of these things determine our value: size, skin color, level of development, race, gender, environment, degree of dependency or place of residence.
To conclude, let me put the issue plainly. As Greg Koukl brilliantly states:
“If the unborn is not a human being, no justification for abortion is necessary. However, if the unborn is a human being, no justification for abortion is adequate.”
And as my friend, Julaine Appling said in response to the pro-abort arson attack, “we will not back down.” Friends, we must stay the course, fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. For life, for Christ and His truth!
