Corporations Push Pride, Ignore ‘Former’ LGBTQ People

One week before what some celebrate as Gay Pride month, hundreds of former LGBTQ people attended the Freedom March in Washington D.C. Yes, you heard that right: “former” gays, lesbians, and transgenders. As these individuals declared their freedom from sexual bondage, corporations were gearing up to throw ungodly amounts of money into promoting the LGBTQ movement.

If those who marched in D.C the last weekend in May are no longer gays and lesbians, doesn’t that mean they were not “born that way”? This changes everything, or, maybe it doesn’t because not many people know about it. The extent the politically correct media, entertainment industry, and government will go to hide or downplay the truth is pretty sad.

Liberals bury the facts or if they do mention them, some falsely claim these transformed people are lying or they weren’t really homosexual to begin with.

Naturally, publications such as LGBTQ Nation have put out hit pieces dismissing the Freedom March for obvious reasons. They want to cause others to doubt the possibility that people can actually overcome their homosexual tendencies.

The organizer of Freedom March, Jeffery McCall, said he came out of the gay lifestyle because he had an encounter with God in 2016 and wanted to build a “family of overcomers.” He explains:

“So I will always share about what Jesus has done to set me free from a false identity and show me that I am a son of God through Jesus; …The whole reason I started the Freedom March was because I felt like all these stories of people that have left LGBTQ lifestyles needed to be heard,”

The March is also exposing the lie that sexual orientation is genetic. The personal stories of men and women who lived the LGBT lifestyle for years show it’s possible and rewarding to find freedom in Christ.

Just one more amazing testimony, this from Angel Colon, who was shot multiple times at Pulse nightclub in Orlando and cried out to God while bleeding and laying on the ground. He focused on surviving and promised to worship God for the rest of his life. Angel said it’s not easy, but “change is possible in Christ.”

He added:

“We have learned what true peace is… what true happiness is, we have learned what true love is in Jesus; That our identity is not in our sexuality, but in Jesus Christ; I didn’t pray in the name of Jesus that he would make me straight. I prayed I would die to myself and would become a follower of Jesus Christ…”

As encouraging as this is, and as thousands are coming out of LGBTQ lifestyles, thousands more are being programmed into it. Indoctrinated by the usual culprits, more money is flowing in from corporate America now than ever before.

It’s not just Hollywood, government, and the liberal media, don’t forget public schools and the work of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network. GLSEN provides training and resources to LGBTQ activists on school campuses and in politics.

Leading the pack, Target Corp. is donating $100,000 to the leftist organization. According to GLSEN,

“We accomplish our goals by working in hallways across the country — from Congress and the Department of Education to schools and district offices in your community — to improve school climate and champion LGBT issues in K-12 education.”

Kids have been bombarded by this since the late 1980s, but now corporate dollars are being used to push the agenda. Recent ad campaigns promoting LGBTQ include Starbucks, Converse, Nabisco, Gillette, Ford, Home Depot, Kellogg’s, Disney, and the Gap.

A decade ago, boycotts of certain corporations might have worked, but tragically, the ideological root is too deep and too widespread today. Adidas, Reebok, Ugg and Nike have all announced their 2019 rainbow-themed collections.

Other major donors to GLSEN include:

Hollister, Walt Disney, JP Morgan Chase and Co., HBO, Delta Airlines, the NBA, McDonald’s, AT&T, Morgan Stanley, Gucci, Bloomberg, and Colgate-Palmolive. Through its board members, GLSEN also maintains a relationship with the largest teachers union in the United States, the National Education Association.

Those who believe the Bible and stand up for God’s truth on gender and natural marriage are being viewed as evil, hateful, and bigoted. ‘Only a horrible, heartless person would oppose these modern cultural trends,’ right?

This is now an uphill battle as the left has done a good job of marketing evil and normalizing any kind of sexual expression outside of marriage between one man and one woman.

This did not happen overnight, and the gospel must still be preached. In the end, God wins, so keep loving others and do what you can to fight the good fight of faith.
